Arcola Energy is delighted to be delivering the inaugural Aberdeen Schools Hydrogen Challenge to support the initial roll out of hydrogen buses on the streets of Aberdeen.
The Aberdeen Schools Hydrogen Challenge is a partnership delivery project involving Arcola Energy, First Aberdeen and Aberdeen City Council.
The Hydrogen Challenge puts the technology of the future into the hands of young people. Students from S1 to S5 (ages 11 to 16 years) will be challenged to design, build and race the most fuel efficient hydrogen powered vehicle.
The winning team from each participating school will then be invited to an exciting final event, competing for the chance to win prizes for their school.
